STUDIO TECHNOLOGY for LIVE is the new professional series for live use from SR. Made with completely new technologies STL is endowed with high efficiency neodimium speakers, Class D switching amplifiers (ICEpower® by Bang & Olufsen ICEpower), and Physiocon2T, the latest version of SR's unique intelligent audio control. Another exceptional feature of the Stage series is the new processor TSST (Total Speaker Safety). This controls, in real time, the internal amplification, protecting it from incoming signal peaks yet keeping it at maximum efficiency without any risk of signal breakup. The result is an amazing sound pressure without any audible effect of limiting or compression. These groundbreaking new features are accompanied by an elegant new design that reflects SR's tradition of premium quality and superior build yet creating a look that is new, vibrant and very much a product of the 21st century. In keeping with all SR's design ambitions the new Stage series are exceptionally compact and lightweight: ideal for todays music performer.
STL 250 is a full range active loudspeaker of bi-amplified design with 200W + 50W RMS featuring a '10' neodimium woofer and '1' horn. Class D switching amplifier (ICEpower® by Bang & Olufsen ICEpower). It is Ideal for live music in medium size locations and applications such as piano bars, restaurants and club entertainment. Endowed with the Physiocon2T processor, the frequency response is exceptional and the cabinet is capable of projecting high output levels throughout the full spectrum of frequencies. With the special shape of the cabinet, the 250 can easily be used as a stage monitor if required and is both lightweight and exceptionally compact For even greater output and bass response just add one or more STW 250 subwoofers. The STL 250 comes with a 40 mm-bored flange on the bottom suitable for a standard speaker floor stand.
